The Midnight Garden is the creation of Australian mixed media artist, Elizabeth Wilson.

Inspired by a grandfather who painted and a grandmother who embroidered and made beautiful dolls, she learnt to paint, sew and sculpt to create various pieces from wall-art, personal accessories, dolls/plush, modified pre-loved items and stand alone sculptures.

Elizabeth has also published two picture books, ‘Mulberry Manor’ and ‘There’s a Shoggoth in my Bath’, featuring original art. A third book 'Tales Of Unease' is available currently in ebook format, and will be printed in late 2024.

Educated in theatre set/prop and graphic design, she brings those skills and a lifelong passion for art to her work.

The Midnight Garden studio is home to two feisty pups, Abercrombie and Schulz, as well as the artist.
